  1. Is anyone else thinking that the way the models are behaving All day from 6 to 12 to 18z is a good thing considering the dross we are normally viewing for the U.K. in december we normally have one post an hour in this thread if we are lucky looking at a sleet shower at 240 promising winter this year ok it may not be a Dickensian Xmas day, or it may be. But it’s not over yet. Not by a long shot. hold tight
  2. Agree but you have to remember they have access to far more data than we will ever see like all models behind the paywall we are just trying to put a puzzle together without the corners or edges.
  3. Well I don’t know about everyone else but I would rather pay British Gas for a front row proper British old school winter with snow if it’s cold rain I’d rather the cheap seats please
  4. The wheels on the bus the amount of times I’ve seen the models do this with cold spells on our little island is ridiculous be patient there is a lot of noise to settle. the models have sniffed it but they don’t wanna go all in just yet. they will have another sniff
  5. Wow just wow at the charts we have had the pleasure to view this last week such a difference for a change rather than waiting for deep fi for a frost. the way I see it England still in world cup england still cold england for a chance of snow what is not to like right now. we seriously need to enjoy these moments of cold chasing especially as it’s in our favour right now and as a certain Steve would say its as rare as hens teeth to be in the game in december
  6. Well the title is hunt for cold i have had to spend ages defrosting the car the last three mornings and everything outside is frozen and frosty, already again. we have cold we just don’t have the snow lol cmon 18z give us something that most want, SNOW the cold is actually here. Gas is pumping away every night. It’s deffo cold here
  7. Well just been reading this thread and what a depressing read took a break since the white Xmas fail and to be honest haven’t missed much at all . I really can not believe what I am reading to be honest, if the models are showing Armageddon cold it’s gospel and the government need to have a cobra meeting to discuss how we are gonna be able to get our bread and milk even though it’s just as true as the charts showing now. so many great posters have left this thread due to this unrelenting absolute dribble of knee jerking spoilt child posts. the weather will change in an instant and have to laugh out so loud at the people writing off feb and March in the beginning of Jan. trust the pros in here they really know what they are talking about All the back ground signals were pointing to a cold xmas did it happen so why are all the back ground signals %100 now just saying
  8. Deffo mate that’s why we are in here isn’t it lol if we didn’t love the chase we would just watch the weather forecast on tv. a lot less stressful though I bet
  9. After reading pages and pages in this thread this mornings results on the models comes as no surprise. the very knowledgeable posters on here have never been interested in cold and snow for the Xmas weekend, but are far more excited at what comes after. keep the faith people this is not over yet.
  10. 2 miles south ,2 miles north bbc said this, mogreps said that il know what il be watching my window no one has a clue
  11. How can people possibly argue about an outcome that hasn’t happened yet. anyways first post this winter just been learning from models. still very much a beginner after over ten years now the last two model runs have actually changed my opinion on this particular cold chase. this really is a period that we do not see very often. confidence is building and maybe just maybe a white Xmas south of Scotland
  12. Really has exploded south of the river could be in for a nice surprise in the morning best it’s looked all this spell to be honest
  13. Got a feeling it will be proper snow now and not that angel dust rubish
  14. Looking at the radar I think south of london could be in for a shock it looks to be intensifying and also back building even for a couple of hours could drop a few cm
