We need another snow prediction chart for the next few hours...anyone got one?
-
I think a little bit of calm should be exercised on here!
Just because somebody 50 (or 5) miles away is getting snow doesn't mean you will... yet...
At best get the Netweather radar, or at worst just watch the MetOffice radar anim, and watch the movement of the ppn. It's on it's way for many of us.
I haven't seen a flake since 3rd Feb 09 so I'm as excited about what tonight could give as anyone.
Sorry if that all sounded a bit dictatorial, but I'm a bit tense
Your tense.... i think i may explode!!!!
-
IS IT? IS IT? PLEEAASSE TIILLTTT!!!!
And a TILT means what?
-
It's been snowing quite heavily 10 minutes up the road from me.
I have an orangey sky, no stars, lots of cloud...but no bleedin' snow! grrrr
Ditto, nada, nothing, ziltch, zero......NOWT!
-
So we are coming up to the 21z (the second image along) on Ian's data. Does it match reality in terms of the radar ppn?
Pretty close I would say. Going by that we in Bristol can't expect much of the "real" heavy stuff until more like midnight - and then all through the early hours.
Please let it happen I want a day off tomorrow
Don't we all follow this forum, just to pray for a day off in the snow..
-
He looks almost angry on the second image.. lol
I love that guy, he always sounds of his head...LOL

5cm+ still enough to cause major problems around here, one flake and all the schools close!
Flake...Chocolate one or of the snow type...
-
Still think this part of Somerset(Street) will see a light dusting but not to the amounts the BBC and others have forcast earlier today,in other words nothing to worry about.
Still think the dusting will be 5cm+

Is it all moving to far East for Somerset....?
-
The middle is slightly pivoting down towards us
Where is the middle located?
-
Asking the question again only because i wanna know where to look at on the radar. But is it the rain on the radar in the channel that will join in the show?
-
Just trying to understand where the snow will come from..... Is it the rain showing in the channel now that is gonig to be dragged up to the SW?
Really want to know what to keep an eye on...
-
More of the sleety stuff here....bit more snow mixed in this time..but looking at the radar (Met office) looks like this is it till later tonite...bring on the main event!
