    Really heavy snow here now - SY23 3BT.

    started snowing here - light flakes, but cloud cover has darkened the place, and no blue sky. A flurry coming maybe?

    Looking at this: http://www.meteox.co.uk/h.aspx?r=&jaar...;soort=loop1uur (particularly images for 1130 and 1200, it seems there's a big precipitation about to arrive at mid wales - a significant one possibly? For some reason 1145 shows nothing (a glitch?), but we could be in for one last big drop?

    SY20 (Machynlleth) has about half to one inch in places. Stopped snowing there abouth half hour ago when I left for work. SY23 3BT (3 miles east of Aberystwyth) has about the same. Trying hard to snow, but failing, and there's lots of blue sky with scattered clouds. Impster

    Really coming down at SY23 3BT now. This is what I call proper snow. Very quiet outside, snow dampening all sound. Starting to stick to the (wet) work car park but roads still ok.

    Reply to adamjones416 Wedi tywyllu man hyn fel bol buwch. Eira trwchus yn cwmpo nawr! Suddenly got very dark and proper snow falling now!

    Has been pretty 'quiet' on the snow front really (compared to other parts of the UK), but now the temp is dropping, and a nice shower of snow with proper flakes coming down in time for the drive home... Nothing sticking (yet?????) But, as we say in Welsh: Eira man, eira mawr... (fine snow leads to heavy snow)

    Easing off at sy23 3bt at the moment. Seems 'brigther' as well so we may not be getting quite as much as expected...

    Any chance of some of your snow getting across the border to Mid Wales???? Can you send some?

    Here at work (SY23 3BT) it's a snow shower now. Visible flakes (not big ones - about quarter inch), trying very hard to stick. Roads still crystal clear.

    Ok - as good as 2pm and cloud cover seems a lot denser, distant hill and forest 'views' getting dimmer. Very tiny flakes of snow 'floating' down in a thicker shower. Occasional cold easterly gusts. I think we're in for a little flurry of snow?!?!? No sign of anything sticking though...

    New member here from Machynlleth (SY20) at work near Aberystwyth (SY23). Very very light snow, tiny flakes. Nothing to rave about really at the moment...
