hi, im in spalding and it is light sleet here, wife is 15 mins away and its heavy snow, hoping we miss it just this once

oh dear, that has stressed out my daughter out.

afternoon all, rain has now turnt to snow here in spalding, can anyone tell me approx time its suppose to go on, i have family comming up from sussex in the morning. thanks also as we had rain earlier its not sticking at the mo but will there come a point where it will settle even if the ground is wet?

its nothing heavy but enough to cause my daughter concern, her grandad is comming to see her from sussex on friday and she does not want snow. lol

after just looking at one chart on here i think nrevous times ahead for those wanting to see snow.hope that chart is very wrong cal. lol

a good looking look north weather forecast for us in sth lincs tonight, she said the snow would be around tonight and last into monday, personally i dont believe a word of it but would be great if it came off, lol. i soooooooo love surprises. as long as the surprise is not that loads of snow forecast and we get none. lol

looking at the forecast and warnings it looks like us down here are going to miss out on the good stuff tonight and tomorrow.

good afternoon all, had some nice snow showers here this moring, but blue sky and a thaw going on here now, i have heard that dew points and temps could be to high for snow down here, does this mean that anything that falls will become more rain sleet and we miss out on anything that might happen over the rest of the weekend and into monday?

morning all, what a surprise it was this morning to see just over an inch of snow has fallen overnight, bbc forecast says more for today, the sky tv forecast said clear, i am hoping for a bit more today.

the bbc forecast i have seen for sunday seem to play down the chances of any snow for lincs but for our dear old paul hudson he has forecast snow showers, which do we think is right?

no i missed that bit, but i have been ice diving today. i scrapped the ice off the top of my hot tub opened the lid and dived straight in. lol

paul hudson said snow showers for here and to my surprise he was right, bit of snow falling now, he did not mention potential depths, anyone any ideas if these will be light or heavy

a stunning day here now, blue sky and sunshine, not alot of hope for snow here over the next cpl off days so i am going to enjoy looking at what is left on the ground which i would think will be gone by the end of tomorrow.

need advice, wife is in peterbourgh needs to get home to spalding, forecast is for showers turning heavy about 3 according to the met office website, does anyone agree? she does not know weather to leave early. thanks.

lets hope we get as much as poss, my family in sussex and my outlaws in gloustershire have had tons of the stuff and was feeling a bit left out down here. what is you take on the possibility of snow on sunday?
