well something is now falling and i think it is rain/sleet.

morning all, a very happy new year to everyone, hope you all had a great night, we had a light snow shower about 8pm yesterday, now a bit frosty but now we have a bit of cloud cover. here is hoping for a bit of snow over the next few days.

not quite sure what forecast i was looking at because as you say bbc have said that snow showers will be accross us.

still no mention of anything wintry for here on the bbc, but metcheck , theweatheroutlook and here say there is a chance of snow later today.

hi all, becoming confused here, i have seen a few forecasts for here and it ranges from light drizzle to snow showers, chilly to very cold,metcheck have us down for snow showers on friday, met office have us down for being dry, who should i go with ??

good afternoon everyone, i hope you all had a great xmas, just got back after a few days with the otlaws and trying to catch up on the latest news regarding the weather for our area, i have heard a rumour tht it might get cold towards the end of the week with possible snow, i so hope this is true.

good morning all, despite the rain/sleet/snow last night there is still good cover on the ground , after looking at the forecast and seeing that the risk of snow has gone it is time for me to get ready for xmas, hope you all have a good xmas and heres hoping that over the next few weeks we can have a bit more fun in the snow. merry xmas all.

at 6.15 car was reading -1.5 so was expecting sleet but this is rain.
