Gone very light here, yet got more covering. Just had a lamppost check and it's very fine but lots of it.

Showers turned to heavy sleet here.

How typical, looked at the GFS précis charts for Thursday and it had 12.5 cm of Snow for Northampton. Whilst here in Bolton it had 1.5 cm yet when I lived down there, the Northampton snow shield was always active.
