    On a colder note, when do you think the MetO are likely to leave warnings (if any) for the weekend? I can't remember when the confidence is.

    It's windy out.. a gentle roar, nothing how I like it. Still.. I wasn't expecting this, this early. It's raining too - quite heavy, slanting in the wind.

    Hi - currently im in Beijing. Do you think I'll see any effects of Soudelor? As far as I can see maybe Shanghai will see lots of rain but that's about as far North as it will get.

    Nothing falling from the Sky as yet here in brighton, the radar says otherwise. The MetO says sleet until this afternoon/evening

    Am I the only one who hasn't had snow that is still reasonably optimistic?! I have ruled it out yet - we've got all night. Granted I might sleep through it but whilst I am that dark orange streamer blob is going to beef up and cover us all. Even us on the south Coast

    Still a long way to go for us on the South Coast but the Met Office warning is the closest we have got here so far all winter - I live in hope!

    Weathizard & Daniel* ~ thank you! Those charts do look tasty Daniel*. We kind of hit jackpot in 2009, 2010 & 2012 for snow here in Brighton. All from Easterly's if i remember correctly but still enough for me to erase 'coast' and 'marginal' when in the same sentence from my vocabulary. Optimistic like you Daniel* Lets hope this northerly does reach us all - I'm up high enough! Keep warm too Weathizard.

    Evening all I convinced myself that we will not be in with a chance of snow Weds/Thurs and then came in here & boom! There is a little hope Love it! Any chance on the South Coast do we know yet?

    The MetO does have precipitation of some form over different parts of the South East all night on its radar.

    Indeed I am. Just looked out of the window and we have sleety rain (& that might be optimistic)! Maybe 90% rain
