I am too. We normally get it the same as the South Downs, but then go down Bear Road and it's always sleety slush on these occasions. I am feeling we might be lucky this high. Not a lot, but a little snow

I agree. Also, why so much confidence from the BBC. Maybe the GFS is right to line up with ECM, who knows (yet) - I do feel it is the knee-jerk reactions that let this forum down though. As a long-time watcher, I much prefer it when comments are made on the actual output in a straight-forward way rather than tit for tat between models.

Let me tell you, at no point did I think it would be akin to 1987. It was a mere feeling that it was going to be pretty rough out there today bearing in mind I had not experience wind and rain like I did last night in many years. It was foreboding. A feeling. And I stated that VERY clearly. Above all that, it was banter. Read again before you misquote me.
