    It was still chaos up Hollingbury way yesterday from Tuesdays 2cm where it didn’t melt and turned to ice. I’m up that way now. Waiting...

    She lived in the same road as my mum in Hawkenbury, Tun Wells. In 2010 or 2012, I can’t remember which, she made a snow penis in her garden. The snowman is sooooo yesterday! ? Huge it was. School children had to walk past it twice a day.

    The radar looks a lot more healthier than I imagined it would. There could even be something here on the South coast.

    I’m up near Hollingbury golf course. Fiveways way. Sometimes we get it bad and city centre have next to nothing.

    Heavy rain turned into freezing sleety slush here in Brighton. High up near the Downs. earlier and heavier than expected going by the video Nick posted yesterday.

    Brighton is under yellow warning today, it wasn’t yesterday. I’m not really expecting much but still looking forward to watching the lamppost. Just in case!

    I’ve been coming here years during Autumn/Winter months and I’ve never known the Model threads to be so hard to follow and to be so disjointed. This is by no means a dig at the Mods who all do a superb job; for me it’s a more an influx of people who are unaware of the ethos of the threads. They’re legendary, these threads and there are some great great minds here... it’s just finding those minds in an ever increasing sea full of s..t Its getting increasingly harder to wheedle out the wheat from the chaf ?

    I live in Brighton, it was epic 2009, 2010, 2012 and we even hit jackpot in March 2013 I think it was. Jackpot is playing in the snow on Brighton beach in March. We’ve had some great snow! Met O isn’t going to mention any favourable easterly that will pop up in the LRF because they don’t know about it yet. Also they can’t mention anything that will trigger our old folk and outdoor workers at this range. This Brightonian is not throwing anything out of the Pram just yet ️

    I’d bet that we all had visions of a white wonderland when in reality we actually all knew that it was going to be an unseasonably cold spell, nothing spectacular. It will feel like winter! its been a long, hot, dry summer for us coldies... this is fun!

    we've had a lovely snowy morning here in Brighton, only just stopped. Didn't lay but maybe later

    We are currently under the snow on Netweather radar and its very lighly snowing here in Brighton I have to drive to Tun Wells in an hour and hope to get back to Brighton ok for about 5pm tomorrow. Eeek!

    The PPN coming over Brest appears to show the met office (professionals) have it spot on. Brighton is so close to the heavy stuff. I'm definitely not ruling out getting more snow later. Conditions out there and the uncertainty warrants a yellow warning in my opinion.

    They've closed my sons school here in Brighton but looking at the radar that may have been unnecessary

    Oh really! Couldn't see anything on the radar. I thought Brighton is probably ruled out for snow today - could I be wrong?!

    Hi all. Hope y'all having fun in the snow!! I have a question. I am quite confused about events for our region Thurs/Fri/Sat. I live in Brighton but I have my Grandmas funeral to go to in Tunbridge Wells on Friday morning so will be driving from Brighton to T/Wells. I can't make head nor tail of what's going on! Whats the current status for Thurs/Fri especially for our region, does anybody know? I'm wondering if it will be best to head there Thurs or Fri and whether I will be able to get back or not Friday night. Is it still all up in the air?! Thanks

    Stopped now Looking at the radar, that might be it for now. Unless we are lucky enough to be in the firing line for the dutch snow.

    Schools that did open here in Brighton are beginning to close now as still coming down quite heavily. I'm the snow lover in my family and i'm the only one stuck in an office! Go figure! Roll on home time so I can play
