    Still lightly snowing in brighton - sooo light. Are we going to get a taste of these cm's coming later? The radar and met office outlook with the snow symbols look promising. Normally i'd be volunteering at the Botanic Garden at Heartwood / Emerson College in Forest Row on Mondays. Too risky to drive so need to play in the woods instead

    Very fine flakes in Brighton, friends. Looking at the radar we may be on the very west of the band. It could get heavier for us as the day goes on. Not yet read posts but I hope that loads of you woke to a wonderland X

    Hi Do you think the are underplaying it here or are we really that marginal on the coast. I am expecting upgrades going by what I've seen but now am not so sure..

    I didn't understand it when I looked at the Met office warnings. It doesn't ring true to what I am seeing on the charts (or reading what other people are seeing) and going by the past. Got hammered in 2009 and 2010.

    The Met office doesn't cover Brighton Sunday (it does East Sussex but Brighton is normally depicted on its own). I'm a bit shocked at that - the charts are showing me different even for the Coast. Hoping for upgrades as i'm building a sledge!!

    From what i've understood tonight, it would be beneficial for all because it will give yours and 4/5th of the UK landmasses impending weather more longevity.

    That gives me a little hope for Brighton, i'm closer to the Downs than the sea but still wasn't expecting much, if any.

    Thank you Jason. Yes, i've followed the models thread for a couple of years so my jets are cooled! I was there for That ECM Massive rollercoaster, but that's exciting, eh! I can normally sift the wheat from the chaf from the Model thread but couldn't catch up tonight for some reason.

    I'm a bit confused in the mod thread... i'm having a quick catch up and am i right in thinking that the models are still trying to deal with the effects of the SSW and it's all still in the balance?
