The Met Office invent maps suggest showers pushing in later on lasting till tomorrow night, they look quite heavy with bands of showers delivering longer spells of snow.

Not really sure which computer models these are based on, can't be the NAE.
I can see the potential Cheese R due to the strength of this E wind. Really is gusty up here.
Had to tie my snapped TV aerial with washing line type cable and feed it in to the bathroom window to stop it banging all nite like last nite!
Also why don't TV aerial Engineers work Sunday...

Brutal easterly wind this morning. Couldn't dig car out of cul de sac and its brought my TV aerial down. Aarghh..!

Nice. I reckon about the same here.
A good 15 - 20 cm level snow and some very impressive drifts of around 2 - 3 ft in places.
Very impressive snow quality for late march also.
Noticed a huge temp drop from city to here this afternoon on way homer. Gusty wind too making it bitter.

Decent 3 - 4 cm ish and blowing around.
Hopefully wake up to a big overnite dump... ( Eh no puns please)..

Heavy snow here now again. Just arrived back home to a fully laden cul-de-sac with quality drifting across the fields behind me facing east.
Very cold in wind but I like it...!

Yep might start seeing something soon, main band still likely to be 6pm though.
Ace. That will be the exact time the 1st pint of stella will be going down my gizzard once I have got up home to Pudsey and in the pub....

I suspect where you live is worse than Leeds center for snow as it was all snow and laying earlier!
Anyway plenty of snow at LBA.!
Yeh just driven past there. Was very foggy on top of the Chevin too.
Just sleet in Otley.
Pudsey had 1cm of slushy snow which flew off the car with ease as I set off at 7 am .!

I would imby say a decent winter.
Don't have the actual figures but between Jan - today must have seen 25 - 30 days of snow on the ground and at least 30 - 40 days of falling snow.
That to me is a decent winter!

Exactly where and how high up are you? Because its snowing here at 150m at 0.8c but not laying at all! So can't see how it is there!

Very top of Pudsey. 185m asl.
Snow gas stopped now and melting slowly. I think it was the intensity that made it stick again.

Woke up to 3cm wet snow on the ground this morning. Very slushy underfoot.
Sleet turned back to moderate snow again here now.

Wintry mix up here at present as we are just on the edge of the band.
Expecting full snow later as front pivots and intensity picks up.
Bed soon and day off tomorrow so hope to wake up to a covering.

Dry here in west Leeds.
Can see the city centre and towards east leeds despite it being 6 miles away from here and its looking like snow there maybe?

Came back through a very heavy snow shower around Yeadon / Horsforth about an hour ago.
Light snow shower here now. Slight covering here. Must have been that beefy shower before.
Temp 0.9c.
Edit: Heavy snow shower here now filling in the cracks

Decent snow shower in Otley at present.
Just checked the radar for the first time today..looking good for a few showers now.
May settle once the sun goes down..

Apart from the odd snow patch, nothing's settled in Huddersfield. The north sea showers have been poor.
Its quite a trek from the N Sea to Huddersfield mate. The showers are always going to lose intensity on the way over.
Tbh we've seen some fairly hefty showers here today for a NE'ly even in W Yorks.!

Can't be far off mate. Just had 2 direct hits here in Pudsey. Last one left a full dusting everywhere where the last one had been blown away.

I think someone could get 5cm alone of that shower going through Alnwick / Seahouses at present. Flaming heck.....!!

Certainly cloud building in East Leeds from where I can see up here.
Nothing on radar and may just be fair weather..!
