    So today, a proper OLDSKOOL hardcore banging early 90’s style storm, no elevated quiet rumbles, lasted a long time too, very bright flashes eventually as it passed by, the Hacienda of thunderstorms, one very close strike as it was the instant snap crack and pop then the shock wave sonic boom, daughter was drying her hair and I made short work of that, unplug everything

    Another flash, looked similar to the one where the fella walking the dog

    Distant lightning again to my south south/east, things are too far away for it to look as close as it did, I’m thinking there’s one hell of an anvil lighting up through gaps in the clouds, very very slight rumbles heard, it’s as quiet as a graveyard where I am so that’s helping the audio

    They have a bowling alley too, and a grass roof fenced off for sheep to roam pretty incredible

    Barton grange is nice it’s near Garstang, on the A6, make sure you bring your credit card though, may end up needing a second mortgage

    Lots of lightning and thunder very elevated, forks coming down but stopping at a certain height
