 WYorksWeather I'm happy to wait!!!

In some ways twilight/early night will let us see the lightning even from way out west?

As it is I'm still hoping for a nice, BIG, storm later.....we'll just have to wait & see how the current storms destabilise the atmosphere around them i guess?

One tower gone up to the east of me. Having trouble with my Boltek fitted a new a new ariel and moved it away from the house and getting the range right is proving a balls ache.

Ah, Cirencester returns. right in the path now.

Think they are steering directly northward so unlikely it will reach us unless they start to develop around Oxford ish which I think could still be possible, we'll have to see. It would have been a lot better at night though, likely see a spectacular light show!

Still silent, few spots falling, maybe 10-15 miles to west of here.

Current at the Cat & Fiddle pub, think I'll stay put incase stuff develops on the eastern edge rather than venturing further west

Gray-Wolf Current track is NNE so I'm cautiously optimistic for west and south Yorkshire.

Rain not too far away now, Views towards Stoke now erased out with rainfall.  Time to get off this hill.

Near to Newport in Shropshire. Was watching the cell moving towards Bridgnorth but its died. The best activity looks further west along the Welsh borders

Suspected this, shouldn't affect new development near Swindon where it still looks sunny but some areas north of Hereford may have problems getting things going, this shouldn't really effect the already established storms in Wales.

cheese Yes. As noted previously there's a chance this will just ride the western Pennies but I'm relatively sure that the gap between the Peak District and Pennies should work to our favour in helping it across since the flow is east of north.

Dark and foreboding to the south, radar has developments towards Stoke-on-Trent. Any sferics will easily be seen ahead of time with cloud bases still at 4000ft
