Had a moderate shortlived snow shower earlier this morning, but the temperature is already 3.3ºC, the warmest of the week.

Snowed here once or twice in the night, has been snowing now since at least 8.15 a.m. looks like the sky still has more to come, depth in garden 3.5cm. It's been well worth the wait. :(

alternating light-heavy streamer snow finally stopped here. snowing heavily through night, had 3.8cm fresh snow on cars and favourable surfaces when i left for work at 8.30. whiteout on side streets, slush main road. this quickly vanished on the main roads as i headed down in elevation. i would expect there to be approaching 4.5cm there now.

i didn't post yesterday and wouldn't want to miss the snow league... :( in the morning it was mostly damp, though 0.7cm had settled on cars and other cold level surfaces. later we had a dusting, then a heavier burst which gave 0.5cm.

Someone better change the Homepage Sun symbol for London, absolutely hammering it down with Snow at the Mo.

Snowing at 8am this morning.. covering to grass and unsalted roads.. around 1 inch..

Temps were hovering at around 0.1oC (perfect for snow) : :(

Work: Central London near Euston Underpass.

.. was flurry's now looking heavier (though not denser..) Can't see London Eye, which is usually clear..

Not sure what temps are?? Is anyone monitoring Central London..??

It is a lot more overcast.. around 10am the sun was breaking through the cloud.. no chance now..

still got nice big flakes here although none is sticking. Such a shame as the ground was frozen this morning,if the ground had stayed frozen all week we would have a foot now!! Still nice to see SOME snow though, certainly beats rain.......... edit,as i type the sun appears again :(

Has been snowing since at least 9am today, heavy & light. Still seems too warm to accumulate.

For the record, we had 1-2" of level snow by yesterday morning, and it continued to snow steadily until the evening, but as it did so, the lying snow gradually melted. So now we just have the odd patch of snow in the garden, which obviously cannot be measured.

Quite a surprise this morning to have a moderate strength snow shower about 1130 this morning ;)

Further odd flurries since make today the 6th day out of the last 7 to have had at least a flurry :)

Light-moderate snow all morning here, not really adding anything to the lying snow as the temp' has crept up to 0.4c and a very slight thaw is taking place.
