Disappointing day. Overcast until 4pm, when clear sky moved in from the east. Maximum temperature here in East Northants for Friday 14.7C.

A lot chillier night than recently. Currently clear, so unless the cloud and outbreaks of drizzly stuff moves in from East Anglia in the next few hours a touch of ground frost looks possible.

A suprising day today. It actually turned out very warm despite being mostly cloudy with the odd sunny spells. However when the sun did come out it was very pleasant indeed and allowed the temperature to reach the highest of the year so far - 17.3°C. This evening has become overcast as the wind turned to the east around 4pm and has since started to drizzle. With such a warm day, my March average is now nearly a full degree above 1971-2000 levels, it looks for sure that March will finish well above average once again.
