The morning started with heavy rain, overcast skies and a moderate south-easterly wind. Clear skies overnight allowed the temperature to fall to 7.9°C before the rain and wind arrived. By late-afternoon it became dry for a few hours before more light drizzle which continued into the evening. It is currently still overcast but dry with extremely high humidity and temperature. There has also been a rapid pressure drop from midnight of 13mb as the low pressure system arrived. Overall, a miserable start to summer and quite cool for the time of year.
