Wow! - what a filthy, thoroughly miserable, but much needed wet weather kind of day. It was raining when I stepped outside to go to work this morning @ 8am, and it was still raining during my driving lesson at 5pm!!.

Constant periods of heavy rain, with only the brief respite now and again. Reservoirs well and truly stocked up!!!!

A dull misty morning gave way to brighter shys at around 1.00pm. Temperature rocked to a high of 25.8, with 88% humidity (the hoghest I have recorded this year. Currently 20.4c, humid and clear, a very pleaseant evening really. Its intersting how we can have near tropical heat here in SE but only a max of 14c not that far away (Derbyshire)
