Cairngorm Webcam Looking Wintry

I cant tell, its probably just a heavy frost, but does that look like a dusting of snow on that object bottom left?

might be sign of things to come hopefully it definately looks like a dusting of snow and it was forecasted on the snowforecast website.

I think it's just frost....it's not quite cold enough for snow up there. Daytime temperatures reaching a minimum of 6C with a windchill factor of 2C.

Temp dropped below freezing on Cairngorm last night, isn't that cold enough for snow?!!
Helen Willets forecast possible sleet/snow showers for the mountains on the BBC last night, so it may well be snow.

well it was -1 at 1200 m at 10 o clock not sure what the current temp is though it will be snow as it was forecasted.

That's definitely snow because the webcam lense has water droplets on it. Not surprising really as yesterday here in Aberdeen, it has felt VERY Autumnal with a distinct chill to the wind. Northern Scotland yesterday and tday has stuggled to make make double figures and it's currently only 8°C at Lerwick in a strong Northerly, 10°c in Aberdeen.

i am not suprised i new it was snow soon as i looked at it and i new it was forecasted because i looked at the snow forecast site.
