Lancaster had a heavy rain shower at 4pm with the temperature standing at 8C. I didn't see any sleet, but it's certainly consistent with reports of sleet showers further inland and higher up.

Just had a heavy shower, everything looks wet, the temperature dropped to 7.7c at least, for all I know there could have been a few sleet flakes, but it's too dark to see anything :evil:

sunny start! last night is was raining and then temp is dropped to 1.9c and me thinks whgatever is fell is was wintry but too dark to tells ! then sky cleared ups at 4ams and frost is appeared and gorgeous sunny morning and now leetle bit cloddy at times! max temp is 12c.

Clear and sunny all morning but quickly clouded over after lunch.

Had some showers this evening and radar shows a spell of rain to come.

5 days in a row it has rained now - the first time since I have been taking readings and recording conditions (started in June) :shock:
