I am eight times away and also under a blanket of low cloud and fog. Mid-day temperature near 7 C and almost calm conditions, 1/16 mile vis in fog.

I'm about 10 miles west of Yeovilton, and I can say it's extremley foggy here!

It is shocking TBH. I drove 3 miles earlier and couldn't risk going above 20mph or past 3rd gear. On one road the visibility was perhaps 20 yards .

Temp sat at 0c here with ice and frost on the ground. Lower down it's not icy so probably a few degrees above freezing.

Aha ! Just looked out window...and first time in what seems like years...

Thick fog in the leafy suburbs of Hatfield, Herts. Temp is bordering on 0c (I assume). Hmm, very still indeed. Peaceful.

A frosty and foggy start gave way to an overcast and misty morning. It cleared slightly into the afternoon allowing some sunshine, however after dark a thick fog developed again, with visibility now well under 100 metres. once again it was a cold day, with the 5th consecutive air frost recorded last night. The last few hours have seen the temperature gradually rise after the temperature bottomed out at 0.1°C at around 6pm.
