Well that band of snow has brought

nothing but a 10 minute flurry.

Had some light snow around 4:00ish. In the last hour or so whilst I've been away from any windows, it's come down heavier and added another covering to all surfaces. Only a cm or two though.

Have had a couple of lightish snow showers during the late afternoon and evening.

Snowing lightly now,a very light covering on the ground.

Had our first snow today in this current cold spell.

About 2 hours on and off from 3 pm to 5pm.

Freezing hard now dont know if we will get any more as that was

not expected.

Heavy Snow showers all evening with another 5 cm or so fallen.

Lightning seen at teatime over the Atlantic just offshore - wow

Some really heavy hail coming down at the moment here. Covered what surface had avoided a cover so far such as the main road...

1cm of lying snow here. It was a little deeper before, but melted somewhat before freezing solid in the last few hours. All this from the trough earlier.

Absolutely! that makes this years total 8cm! More than last year
