Report for Tuesday 4th April 2006, Readings taken at 23:55.

A partly cloudy day with long periods of sunshine and occasional wintry showers. These were more of hail and sleet during the morning but turned to snow as the day went on. The evening has been mostly clear and as a result the temperature has fallen rapidly. Overall temperatures were well below average for the time of year and felt very cold in a moderate northerly wind.
