Anyone in North Wales? They seem to be breaking out there? B)

Can see lots of CBs with anvil out on the horizon to my northwest- while it's beautifully sunny here! Heard a report of thunder in parts of mid/north Wales around lunchtime.

Rumbles of thunder here frequently since about 4.40pm...still going now....not sure if we are in for much but a show like last nights would be good!

Thunderstorms missed my area by about 6 miles, but i did hear some loud rumbles and saw lightning in the distance in the early evening.

Not an exciting report today but I heard thunder from 2 storms. Firstly to the S/SW around 16-17.00 which I estimate to have got within 5 miles - gave thunder once a minute for a while. Secondly around 18.30-19.00 to the SE which I estimate to have been 5 miles away too.

Hi Guys

Spectacular lightning tonight in Galway City on the West Coast of Ireland. Looking out over Galway Bay to the South it was brilliant, it has lasted for over 3 hours with no rain.

Anyone in North Wales? They seem to be breaking out there?

Had a few loud rumbles with some sharp showers. Most of the activity was further west though, Hail, Mudslides, Flash Floods, the whole package.
