    At last, I don't believe it, we have a westerly, a very rare occurence up here these days !!

    Lovely sunny morning after a fairly active trough went through in the early hours

    Temp a sizzling 8 C with vis over 50km, and a large row of Cu Nimbs advancing from the Atlantic.

    A sunny start to the day but cumulus building quite quickly now, cloud cover currently 6 oktas.

    Temp' is 8.3c after an overnight min' of 2.5c and a grass min' of 0.0c.

    One or two light showers overnight resulted in 0.1mm by 0900.

    Wind is 15 mph SW, vis' over 50 miles.
