is there a thread on here,that can give some frost warnings to us growers.its getting to that time of year when pots and baskets could get an early setback.does anyone else think a frost warning thread would be helpful,thanks peter :)

I'm not sure myself but that may well be useful with the nights drawing in and everything. Definatly not relevant today down here as it's +19c already this early in the morning! :)

Yeah, I think that is a good idea, the night are getting chilier down here although there are rarely any frosts in September nowadays.

We'll be adding frost reports again shortly - we started doing those last winter and they worked ok. :)

Its still early for frost in these regions I think, although I'm certainly looking forward to when they arrive.

Wonder when the first frosts will appear. The earliest I can remember in SE London is 12th October but as I am so old i cant remember the year. I wouldnt be supprised if Northern England saw some on the 6th-7th-8th October this year

I wouldn't be surprised if Northern/Central Scotland saw it beforehand..
