Well just looked outside and rather suprisingly its snowing very heavily, and all is white inbetween the melted areas!! whooooo hooooooI thought they said it was just gonna be cold n clear up ere!!

Bit disappointed to find only the lightest of snow coverings here this morning and a lot of ice. Currently 3.9 degrees (not sure about that or my thermometer as it feels a lot colder) and we're having a very light snow shower as I type. Air pressure 1022mb

Yep we did have a heavy snow shower in Saddleworth last night but it only gave a dusting here.

Very icy here. Yesterday's snowfall frozen and traffic moving very slowly on the ice.

About 2-3cms here in Colchester this morning, had some fairly heavy snow showers too around 6:30am

Just a light dusting here not worth mentioning realy. Still the roofs are white and the sky has little blue patches and light grey clouds. Not much of an event. Maybe the next cold spell in a few years time will deliver for me.

Awoke to find a light scattering of snow over the ground at home in Brighton, but nothing remaining here at work on Hove seafront this morning.

My house looks out over the North Sea, and the weather has changed completly from first thing this morning.

It was quite mild, and clear. Now the wind has really built up, the clouds are racing in, and its started to snow.

Had very heavy snow for half an hour and have now got an inch on the ground!!!!!! My second snowfall for 2007......

We had heavy fluffy flakes last night about 1030pm too....... for me this was probably the best most likely outcome from this spell.......

At work in Whitfield, Dover there was an overnight fall of a good inch or so. Has been very little in way of thaw during the morning. Nothing other than some ice/slush at home, on route to work via A2 first lying snow begins at Bridge and gets thicker at Barham where again there was a decent fall, continued at same depth along A2 (which was down to one lane due to snow/slush). Caused a lot of problems in this area with numerous accidents on the roads, and not surprisingly the trains weren't running early on - wrong kind of ice?!

Moderate shower mid morning in Oare wich left a covering on certain surfaces.

Arrived home to light snow which is melting on contact with the ground.
