took this yesterday morning at 0625am , whilst standing at the back door having a coffee and tab[smoke] this little Wren came so close to me ,i just had to take a picture , was rushing around with the camera so it may not be properly focused

I was using a Fine pix S5600 for this shot with the zoom on full

Amazing photo Diane

This one is of the wind farm off the Great Yarmouth coast, I took this from the beach at Lowestoft

so that's probably why its not as crisp a photograph as I would have liked.

I should think that the wind farm is several miles away from where I was standing with my little camera.

Hi stormchaser1,

But for the understandable focus problem this would be a sure winner.

I love it.

H potsy,

Beautiful photo, It looks as if it was taken from a plane.

Nice one Ashley,

Love the white of the hail contrasting with the black tarmadam road.

My three entries all come from a weekend spent in Glenfeshie near Aviemore in the Cairngorms. Gorgeous weather and superb scenery - what more could you ask for?

The opportunity to photograph some wonderful birds as well, that's what!

My first, however, is a lovely morning view over Loch an Eilean:

My next is an flight shot of a Snowy Owl:

post-2922-1175199011_thumb.jpg

My final effort is an attempt to pander to the landscape afficianadoes whilst at the same time pandering to my own wildlife bent at the same time:

A true Monarch of the Glen perhaps?

post-2922-1175199200_thumb.jpg

And for those wondering, they were captive bred birds and my holiday was a photographic workshop - I would be very lucky indeed to find a wild Snowy Owl in the Cairngorms!

I was on a two day holiday break in Co. Wexford earlier in the week and took the following photos.

I hope you like them.

Crikey, the standard of photos this month beggars belief!

That Snowy Owl, Louby...I'm speechless.

John C, you've been practising with your "fish eye" lens?!!

Well done everyone.
