Storm reports: 21st & 22nd June 07

Thunder rumbling away around here since about midday. Nothing directly overhead yet but torrential showers. Peter Gabriel and Crowded House are plying in the open across the road from me this evening - good luck - mud bath I'd say :lol:

So that was what all the cones on the road were for. The roads around there have alot of surface water still on them now..is that the sun coming out!

Hi, Had a major storm here (just south of Guildford Surrey) at 3.30-4pm, lots of thunder and lightning, now moving slowly to our east. What a summer !

i just looked at the radar there a huge storm in that area

ThanksNot much detail yet thoughEye witness on Radio 5 has said the funnel did not touch down.Seen about 10 miles west of Peterborough apparently.

Something rumbled past my area between 5 and 6 today, didnt see anything from it though as it skimmed the area. A rainshower followed on shortly afterwards but no thunder that time.

Had a thunder storm here around 3pm ish heard 6 rumbles of thunder and saw 7 flashes of lighting.Not much rain though then the sun come back out.
