    I have not got a weather station, but from pure instinct I can hear/see the wind speed rising I would guess to gusts of 45mph here in Stirling.

    No precipitation.

    up unusually early for me, had a couple of rain or sleet showers earlier on, a mix of clear skies and patchy CuSc type cloud

    oops, told you it was early for me!

    temp at 3.2C, lowest so far, with a moderate nw breeze, dewpoint at -0.0C and still falling.

    Jhn, I think a few of us are up early this morning, been up since 6am!!

    *cough* back to the weather

    According tot eh radar we had a few snow showers last night but nothing on the ground.

    Temps 3.1c, not dropped any lower overnight.

    Lets hope we at least see a snow flake today but Im not so confident it all seems to be veering east and missing us.

    Has been another windy night and early morning with SW gusts up to 36mph, but mostly dry, only a very brief light shower around 8am. Currently at reading time, sunny, but very windy, feeling cold.

    Was stormy through the early hours with gale force southerly winds gusting to 40mph and driving rain. At 9am, stormy with driving rain. The morning continued with further gale force winds and rain for a time before brighter conditions reached the area around 11am, this was accompanied by a falling temperature. The wind continued to be very strong with gusts in access of 44mph and a couple of sharp hail showers thrown in. Top temperature of 7c at 9:30am. Currently at 16:00hrs, 5.3c. Rain 2mm.

    Sunny intervals and snow showers, just under 1cm lying but ground only 60% covered as some of last night's snow thawed as the temperature rose a couple of degrees. Heavy snow and hail showers earlier this morning with a thunderstorm between 0715 and 0725 about 4 miles to the east of me.
