Great pics thank you. Looking at the car park it looks like you weren't alone in your trip to the coast! You didn't fancy a walk down to the lighthouse then?

Love the pics!!! Reminds me of a storm in 1990 when I lived in Eastbourne, all the pebbles strewn along the the lower prom. I missed out on all the uk weather today as I was here!!!!

:) Wasn't that funny Mr Sherman!

Thought it might be an idea to show a few shots of what Newhaven and Seaford are like on a calm day and then how it was today ;) Not necessarily the best pics I took but shows the difference .

Thanks Paul for letting me hijack your thread :):)

Yes we caught high tide down there, I have been going there since a kid, and never seen it as rough as it was today or as high!

Not so great, don't really do justice to how rough it was. Will sort out the video clip for tomorrow, got swearing in it - so not for those easily offended.

Nice photos folks, looks like you all had fun :)

I went to the Needles in the afternoon, nearly blown off of my feet a few times at the rocket testing station :)

Just in the process of selecting an re-sizing some pics now, then you can see my shaky efforts :)

Russ

In which case Paul better not post up the video with me in it as it will have to be bleeped from start to finish! Seriously good pics guys, having been there just before these shots I can confirm how phenomenal the wind and rain was.

Mine don't match up in any way to these, but my excuse is that I was sat in the car trying to dodge the windscreen wipers! ;)

I know expect in the morning Coast to post the pics of my lass doing her phones 4 U impression there earlier this year ;)

Well it would be rude not to.......

;) Tried a few RAW Files on Sunday with some small Convective Showers that came out okay, but the few I took with the Sea looked crud, so went back to Wally Mode. Will persevere with the RAW Shooting though!
