Had a sharp and very unexpected shower around 7pm for 15 minutes. It was of hail and snow, but it must have been very wet as everything outside is soaked

Snowing nearby, as the streetlights to the nearby north and east have disappeared in a thick fog (indicating that those areas are getting snow) Looks like Lancaster City is getting some as the city can normally be seen from the University, whereas now you can't see a thing over there.

Still sleeting here at the uni though, 2.7C.
