Blue skies here in Glasgow. No more than a dusting earlier (about 11am). Snow band clearly visible heading south away from here.

Well yesterdays inch or so of snow melted. :cry:

But over night we got a good three inches or so of snow.

This morning started beautiful and sunny, with little wind.

Its just finished laying another inch or so with a heavy windy snow storm. Its really windy now. Just spoken to my husband on the phone, on his way up from here to Newcastle Upon Tyne about 30 minutes ago who also got caught in a white out and had to stop driving.

Yesterdays is was very cold evenings and temp is fell to -0.3c by 8pms. After 9pms moon is clodded overs ans temp is continue fallings but after 10.30, temp is starteds to rise and barometer is turned to clods and pressure trend is fells!!

11.00 temp is rises agains and then the me is checks outside when temp is rises to 0.6c and the me is saw amazing flurries flurryings down. Snow is got heavy arounds 11.20pms and bleezard conditions is kicks in ats 12.30ish! Beautiful peaceful site!!!!

Snow is stopped by 2ams and frost is came and clear skies and temp is falls to -3.2c. Very very cheely start to day. At 8ams temp is was -3.2c and now it is 0.9c at middays!!! Damn colds and the me is forecast more snows!!!! Me is waiting for the more juicy fat flurries!!! Snow is steel settled and them me is had bout 2cms!!

Had nothing overnight. The band split and went east and west of here!

I'd check you're Thermometer Essex snow, seams not right to me, I know you can get variations but that's under 2c on what I am reading!
