A dry, bright and mild start, but with a good deal of high cloud developing before reading time, although still with some hazy sunshine. The morning and afternoon continued dry, bright and very pleasant with hazy sunny spells and an easterly breeze, top temperature 20.4c, maximum wind gust 28mph.

After a dry start, it has rained for the last hour, quite persistently but nothing overly heavy. Feeling even more humid now but the temperature has dropped from 16.3C before the rain to 14.9C.

After a glorious end to the day yesterday when the temp reached 21.3c in my south facing back garden (we even had our tea outside at 6.00pm), Today is the opposite , torrential rain since about 7 or 8 this morning (thats when i woke up), still mild but very very wet :lol: :lol: No BBQ for us today
