Taken on 09/05/2008, this is one of the best storms I have ever seen in the UK, so much lightning, here is a complilation of videos put together that I took on the night. Was great fun to watch.

Wow Very Nice

Have you any idea what got hit by that CG @ 18seconds , a very nice Power Flash and then explosion shown by the Green/Blues and then the Orange Glow.

Had something similar 5 weeks back In Witchita Falls (Tx) a huge Cg and then an enormous Power Flash where a generator Blew up just to our North

Nice video. Good job on the filming - some really good lightning caught.

 Thanks for sharing that Dave. It was great here as the storms developed, without a drop of rain, virtually overhead and moved away ever so slowly, while backbuilding, and I was able to sit outside enjoying not only a dry, balmy evening butalmost constant strobe like lightning in the anvil after 21.00!

Thanks for your comments guys :) and no I tried to find out but I don't know exactly what the big CG hit, I do know there were some power problems the next day in the area though.

Great video. I agree about the substation, lots of brass and copper on substations and when they go up; plenty of green flames.
