After a dull, breezy and rainy start, the morning up to reading stayed overcast and damp with drizzle with the wind falling light. A clearance moved in to the area around 10:30GMT with sunny periods developing and later heavy showers in the vicinity, but none here. Maximum temperature 19.7c, maximum wind gust 25mph from the WSW.

Weather here was really pants first thing but has gradually improved so we now have no rain and the sky is a lot brighter but no sunshine as yet.....

After a wet start to the day with slow-moving showers all bunched together, the wind got to work and blew them all away and this afternoon as been mainly dry with sunny intervals and showers once again staying to the east and west. It's funny though how the wind has strengthened with the rise of pressure. <_<

Same just been through ponteland way seems the badger is flooded, fire engines outside pumping water out, some of the roads are like rivers waves coming over my car like ive never seen before
