Its been dry here for about 6 hours, and sometimes the sun comes out! However, the Irwell down the road is on flood watch (I'm high up so wouldn't get flooded) and parts of the Mersey around Didsbury and Flixton are on flood warnings. My gran lives in between these areas so isn't on flood warning, but keeping an eye out, i think she may be high enough anyway, but you can never be too sure!

In between a slow moving raiband approx 50 miles North and streamer of showers approx 50 miles South, it's been a fine morning with sunny spells and a gentle WSW breeze. Clouding over now but nothing that looks imminently threatening, I think the rain will start at around 15/16.00 as that band to the North continues to edge down.

An extra 18mm last night which makes it wetter than yesterday.

River severn has flooded with some corn fields under water for the 2nd year in a row

I`ve seen floods at the end of september once or twice not at the beginning and it`s higher than I expected.

Sun has come out and temps are higher at 14.9c had some drizzly rain.

Wettest september date since 1999 and that won`t be topped.

Pleasant day, if a little breezy. Low of about 10 overnight, high of 15 or so. No rain.

Dug up the spuds and the garlic & picked some hops, which are now drying in preparation for a brewing.

attachment=68255:IMG_0272_1.JPG] Feeling very autumnal last night down to 6c as this guy agrees as he got a warm dry mat to sit on at the backdoor with one of the farm cats, perhaps not the best place to hibernate Cool strong NE wind off the sea here today 13c drizzly in the morning but brighter now combines round about making progress again this afternoon.

15C here with a strong NE wind. Mostly cloudy now after bright ints earlier but no sign of any rain. Indeed I had to water the garden this morning after a pretty dry but increasingly windy week.

Sunshine and showers, though mainly cloudy. It's one of those setups where rain stalls over northern England/southern Scotland, the far north stays in the clear, and the south gets brighter showery weather. For once, I'm down south!

The forecast yesterday had cloud, rain, damp and gloomy conditions lasting the whole day over my area, but it's been cracking the flags. Glorious warm sunshine, with only frequent cloudy spells. It's filled in a bit now, but all considering a really nice late summer's day.
