there is a smallish ripple developing on the cold front, as shown on the radar intensification of rainfall; it should not cause any major hold up as the front clears south into southern England and southern East Anglia; these areas will be affected for quite some time as the front then only makes slow movement south.

some kind of clearance showing here after a short burst of rain; not sure if that wave will cause a restart of rain just yet; wind has certainly veered, its now nw but little change in dewpoint so far.

:lol: Through daylight hours it was a fine day with sunny spells and only a few very brief light showers. Quite a breeze from the West and max of 11c.

Since darkness has begun to fall then so has light rain which looks set to get a bit heavier through the evening. 10c at the moment.
