Absolutely freezing here. Really horrible gale force eastlery wind, making it feel about -10oc!!!!! Thermometer is reading just above freezing, but there is a thick frost on cars, I am surprised how much frost there is to say there are gale force winds!!

very similar conditions to StormA ..not surprisingly , though we are more sheltered so the wind is much lower. Heavy frost on cars (started forming at 6pm yesterday). Very light ground frost too...let's hope this is the start of an extended cooling period

Morning all, cold and breezy here in mid-Kent with predominately clear skies, with bits of bobs of clouds floating from the north. A slight ground frost but not at lot worth shouting about. Temperatures at around 2.8c, wind ENE 10Km/h and the pressue high at 1035.6mb. The sun is about to rise now

Feeling much colder this morning with sub-zero wind chill in the moderate to fresh easterly wind, though bright, Minimum, 1.4c, grass minimum –2.0c with ground frost. The day continued dry and sunny, but with a cold east wind making it feel very chilly indeed. Top temperature 3.6c, maximum wind gust, 26mph from the east.

Very cold this morning, I'm not at home but I would guess that it dropped to between -6 and -8C back home.

A cold, raw feeling day with temps now 3.3c after a low of 1.8c. It's currently overcast so not as nice as yesterday so far. My house dropped to 12.6c when I got up - I really should put the heating timer back on again! My fingers are almost too cold to type...

the current temperature is about -1c the weather forecast for our area to be 0c all day but itll probably get up to about 1c because of the sun , one thing that is confusing me is that the frost started to melt when it was about -3c so im going to ask is it possible for frost to melt under freezing temperatures in the sun?

Yesterday turned out to be the best day over christmas with sun and clears skies fresh east wind in the morning, later it dropped off, a max of 2.1c coldest boxing day since 2004,got down to -1.8c then it clouded over temp still around 0c.

Still cloudy E/NE and 1.8c.
