Clambered out from underneath my hangover at 8am to go for a walk through Cogra Moss and up Blake Fell on New Years Day. Temp was -7 when I got out the car to set off. To be seen are the tarn & woods in Cogra Moss, Blake Fell and the views of the fog filled Lorton Vale, Grassmoor, Hopegill Head, Buttermere Fells, top end of Ennerdale fells, Mellbreak and in the distance Skiddaw & Hellvelyn from the top of Blake Fell.

Breakhtaking pics right there. Whats the height ASL? Well done on snapping them!

Top of Blake is nearly 600m or thereabouts. The pictures have come through too big which spoils it a bit!

    Dial up users beware!

Took ages to open them all but well worth it, excellent photos, well worth the trip!

I've been looking forward to getting wintry photos in my time off but it's been so dull I haven't been out once, I guess I should have gone to the Lakes.

Thanks for sharing those, they are brilliant
