Uk gone all white, how accurate is this?

Not sure why Ireland is white - they had not much snow from what I can tell. Most of the coastal areas in the north of England ditto. Scotland ditto for many lowland areas - certainly in the west, north & east. Norfolk didn't get much, if anything, that lasted for long. I think colouring the whole country white was a little ambitious to be honest...

Looking for satellite inagery from earlier clear skies.

Sky news is full of the recriminations about the UK inability to cope with snow these days. It's quite amusing to hear actually - 'why were the all schools closed - we had no snow', 'why did people not go to work today in London, the roads were clear and the buses, trains & tubes were running today' etc...

I lived and worked in London in the late 80's & 90's - I could never 'not get into work' back then - even with the 'wrong type of snow'.
