Does anyone else notice how anguin always talks about the cotswolds but not even a mention of mendips, exmoor, quantocks ect.

hmmm still have no clue from that forecast.

The national was even worse they were zoomed in on scotland while they ran graphics forward so only giving you the picture mid afternoon in west when they paned back down. :(

though have little faith :(

Not doubting precipitation will arrive, dogs, but not convinced of decent snow to last past early morn. Wales and your area looks OK for continued snow, but BTL, somerset, devon, etc not so.

Pouring with rain here! 1.0C but seriously heavy rain. So gutted this wasn't snow, I'd be digging my way out now.

Very sorry to hear that mate. You really deserve another snowfall to make up for the all the missed-out opportunities. Sounds like 9th Feb 2007 to me where it poured with rain all morning with a temp of about 0.5C and then snowed in the afternoon when it had climbed to near 2C.

snow in Wales  ..the party is starting

that's good, bit mr angwin's forcast just a minute ago, how can I put it he just looked really unsure the snowband looks like framenting slightly further south of say sharpness and frampton on severn area, but the north cotswolds look to fair well later ie chelts tewkes stow on the wold.

Let's just wait and see, I think we ought to be a bit more pessimistic now, will just have to wait and see how the next 12hours unfold.

He still did say 20cms over higher parts and 3-5cms widely 2-3 inches.

Oh well, and a couple of inches on Monday which only just melted today so can't complain too much, a darnsite more than in the last two years!

Is Hatherleigh further north than dartmoor? Further north probably falling as sleet/snow now

Yeah its in North Devon, Dartmoor sort of straddles central Dartmoor, but I'm on the SE side of it, south west of Exeter.

Hi

I find it hard to believe that I am really going to see snow here in Gloucester tonight as the temperature is currently +1.8C. Is this likely to drop or have I missed out on heavy snow yet again?

Richard
