Maybe time to change this thread to 'Spring Watch' from Friday?

why is the temperature in the north west of northern ireland 8c and in belfast its 2c.?

My gut instinct tells me there is a surprise or two yet!

Sorry didn't get on yesterday.

Well the uppers 3 days before the event were to be -3/-5 for Eastern areas, however closer to the time these receeded East and left us in farr too mild uppers to give any snowfall -2/0c....therefore we only had cold rain. An uneventful front but we've had our fair share in this fornight cold spell.

It's been a balmy day all in all. 9c. I nearly got my shorts and t-shrit on! :lol:

Agreed. Best year for a long time. I still think we could see some more but if we didn't, I'm more than content!

Has anybody wondered why the Romans called Ireland, "Hibernia"?

Because we needed to Hibernate???? lol
