Snow/Wintry Precipitation Reports: 22nd February 2004

just got back from spending 3 nights in a tent in the cairn gorms not too much snow around but very cold ( wind chill -25) fantastic climbing weather with some good ice! i even had to use my crampons on the ski runs in order to stay upright. sharpen those edges!! anyway just to report that central newcastle has a covering of snow

It is snowing in Ipswich and has started to lay- it is 0oC at tha mo. Looks like alot more to come on radar with heavy bursts- bring on some snow! Is it true we could have over 3cm tomorrow in some parts of east anglia?

A relative of mine syas that there is some thick snow on the A1 and a covering in leeds
