Sunny and fairly mild start but with a noticeable cold wind. Heavy showery rain between 1.00 and 2.30pm, which cleared rapidly and now we're back to sunshine again. Currently 6.1 deg C, today's maximum 11.3, last night's minimum 3.9.

Apart from a couple of hail/sleet showers here earlier on this afternoon, it has actually been a decent afternoon with lengthy sunny spells.

Very much classic spring weather on my journey from Bristol back home on a (packed, as usual on a Sunday) train. Spells of sunshine mixed in with rain/hail/sleet/snow showers and towering clouds.

A cold wind but a very enjoyable weather day especially passing through those showers at 100mph+ - it was heavy precip to sunshine in seconds!

Heavy snow here early this morning - giving a temporary covering that had gone by mid morning.

Of course, I witnessed none of it being tucked in bed recovering from too many Guinness last night - but my hubby reliably informs me this was the case...

A very showery day with some decent spells of sunhine in between though. One of the showers just after lunch briefly turned to snow leaving a slushy covering which quickly melted. Windy day overall too, with gale force gusts in the showers.

A day of frequent showers of rain/sleet soft hail and snow showers of which have been of snow/hail this afternoon 2 showers gave a slight dustings one even drifted off the roof slightly, and they were on the heavy side temp drop to 1.4c.... 4.9c max, clear now and less windy at 1.6c
