1c overcast fresh N wind and flakes of snow in the air and about 5000 geese grazing one of the greener grass fields as they have done for the last few days, most definitely not heading north just yet.

It has been another rather windy night; which has prevented the temperature falling below 3.5c. At observation, overcast with a light shower, feeling chilly in the wind.

Reading’s at 09:00 GMT

Sky Conditions, 7 Oktas, Stratocumulus.

Temperature 6.2°C

Barometer 996mb rising.

Wind Force 5 NNW.

24-hour extremes

Maximum temperature 9.8°C

Minimum temperature 3.5°C

The night has been clear but windy conditions have prevented the temperature from falling below 4c. At observation, very windy with a blustery shower. The day saw further blustery showers some in the area were heavy with hail. Feeling cold in the wind, maximum temperature 9.8c, maximum wind gust 35mph westerly.

Horrible sums up the weather here. It is overcast, with persistent drizzle and very cold wind. Temperature has been stuck around the 6C mark for a good while now, currently 6.3C, dewpoint 4.6C. I can't really see the temperature rising much today if it stays like this.

Very windy weather here overnight and this morning.

Some passing heavy wintry showers at times, with a covering of snow on the mountains.

Certainly very fresh air which is rather nice for walking etc.

Last night's minimum was 1.2c and right now the weather station says 8.3c but I can promise you it feels nothing like that in a gusty NNW wind :yahoo: !

A dry morning though with some sunny spells and Altocumulus, Towering Cumulus and Stratocumulus. Humidity at 57%.

Partly sunny with fast moving clouds. Dry so far too so not too bad here although quite a wind on. 8.2c at the mo which no doubt will feel more like 2c in that wind.

Currently 1c and in the last hour we have had a couple of moderate snow and hail showers coming off the Firth on the fresh north wind with bright skies in between a real spring day. Getting colder all morning as temperature static .
