Saying we have topped our 70f ,then we can see if we can top a 80f in the next few weeks as the temperatures are on the rise as we enter summer.

Well, i actually think that May could be quite average this year, especially after the relative warmth of March and April, however i do expect a notable warm spell at some point, so i will call for the 22nd May.

Well I was a little optimistic with the 70f guess at early April, I feel May will not quite reach it but instead we will have to wait until 3rd June

Not sure if people are guessing for 80f or 25C.

I'll say 25C on the 21st May at Charlwood

80f is an imperialistic irrelevance to me

Not really - IMO its a temperature at which you can truly say summer has arrived.

Although this probably varies depending on where you live as temperatures can be up to 10C hotter in the south east than elsewhere.

generally I would expect 25C to have been reached in the South east by the end of May at least... probably 15 minutes away from me at Heathrow or somewhere else in London

Guest North Sea Snow Convection

I'll say 25C which is just short of 80F on the weekend of 6/7 June (and which is plenty warm enough for me). I am going to Begebury Pinetum and then onwards for a party night!! :help:
