A warm start to the day, around 15C at 10am, then the cloud and rain set in so dropped to 12C by midday.

Since then it's risen to 16.3C and is a nice warm, but windy day.

The rainband passed over here around an hour ago and hardly wet the ground. Now its back as it has been all day - mostly cloudy with bright spells.

Not a brilliant first day to May it has to be said - cloudy dry morning then the rain set in at lunchtime with some heavy bursts during the afternoon and very low cloud down to 100m, the rain cleared at teatime but the evening stayed fairly cloudy with low cloud only slowly lifting.

Tomorrow is looking a much better day, hopefully the skies will stay free from relative haze as I have long walk planned.
