Stunning morning - clear blue skies without a single cloud and temp already 15c.

A low of 11.8c last night and the first time we've left the skylight above our bed open all night this year - lovely it was getting fresh air all night - feel so much more alive! Although the pigeons shouting from 5am did wake me a few times!

Those wind arrows over the north Midlands confirm my own observations earlier this morning. At 0730 g.m.t the wind was 3 mph and anywhere between W and NE through N. By 0800 it was 2 mph N/NE but by 0900 g.m.t it was 8 mph S/SW.

My temperature reading is 2C out by the looks of things, not a proper exposure like official sites, 18C widely, makes a mockery of sky.coms scorching weekend really, nobody in their right mind calls 18C scorching.
