Looks to be a very warm day for an awful lot of people.

I highly doubt that on the 1st of June under a northerly wind, you have come within 1 degree of the all time highest temperature in Northern Ireland (30.8C).

2nd warmest day of the year at 23.6c old gauge reads 21c not as warm as last June yet,tomorow could test it.

A nice refreshing gentle NE wind where I was today as here it`s too warm in the sun with no wind,a couple of very distant cumulus to the south and thats it. B)

Weather last night was very exciting from a dusting of snow to huge TCU which turned into thunderstorms with dramatic swirling purple clouds, and even a whirlwind came straight towards me dreams are`t they dramatic at times.

I apologise - It looks like it's going to be a record breaking summer for Northern Ireland with temperatures of 40C at times not out of the question.

I know that parts of the Republic have been easily into the high 20's especially in the midlands and west which were widely around 27C so undoutedly 28C has been breached locally today so I believe him. On coasts it is far cooler in the low 20's. 22C here on the East coast atm.

Should continue here for the next few days because we are holding on to the warmer sector. Tomorrow looks very warm again

Tomorrow, Tuesday, will be another warm dry day, with widespread sunshine - a little cloudier across the north though. Highest temperatures 22 to 27 degrees, warmest across the midlands, with just light variable breezes.
