Nice to be in the office today and not feeling warm and tired!

After a sunny start the cloud is now building, we've managed to just hit 20c, humidity is at 48%

Looking at other posts it seems the cooler air is slowly pushing southwards, hopefully can get through the afternoon before it gets too chilly.

After this mornings sunshine it has gradually turned cloudy, it feels muggy with only a light ENE breeze. Today's top temperature 22.6C which was reached about 1.30pm, i think from now on the only way is down.

Certainly a much cooler,fresher feel to the weather today. Rather cloudy for much of the time

with a light breeze. Current temp is 16c which is 7 degrees cooler than this time yesterday.

Its far too late for anything like that. You need deep cold air (-40C at 500hPa level) and an unstable flow. Its more likely just an unusual cloud formation seeing as theres no precipitation associated with it either.

Mostly cloudy with sunny spells and much cooler today. It is currently 14.5C after an earlier max of 16.4C. Last night was rather mild though due to the cloudcover, with a min of 12.4C.

Its still very warm in the house though. Its the first summer since we had cavity wall insulation put in last Autumn and while it saved us 25% on bills last winter, it has made it retain far too much heat now!

What a difference a day makes, this time yesterday the temperature was sitting comfortably at 27c, today it’s struggled to reach >15c, currently 14.9c, cloudy and dry with a light NE wind.

Yup massive contrast between the two days. Yesterday 26C and humid today 16C reached just after five O'clock. Certainly cool today and mostly cloudy.

A sunny warm morning 18.8c max this morning but felt fresher even then,but today has been just perfect really after the last few days mostly cloudy but dry, a welcome coolness aswell 15.9c now wind mainly east.

Sunny in the morning, gradually clouded over during the afternoon. Still warm, after a very mild night - currently 16.8, maximum 23.5, last night's minimum 14.8 (the mildest night since last July, I believe).

Hazy sun as cloud has broke with wind from the east/NE and clouds coming in from the NW which is confusing with the direction.
